Black Box Publishing
Black Box Publishing is the imprint through which selected photographic works and publications by Alastair Whitton are produced and issued.
It functions as a framework for works conceived through processes of observation, construction, and reconstruction, including unique hand-constructed photographic objects and artist books. The imprint oversees production, documentation, and direct enquiries.
Availability is managed by enquiry.
Works are held in public and research collections, including the National Art Library at the Victoria and Albert Museum, London; the Thomas J. Watson Library at The Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York; the International Center of Photography (ICP) Library, New York; and the Jack Ginsberg Centre for Book Arts at the Wits Art Museum, Johannesburg, among others.
